IPTV Setup on Samsung & LG Smart TVs
By Indiplay Box Team ·
If you own a Samsung or LG Smart TV, you may not need any extra hardware at all — you can watch Indian channels straight through an app on the TV. Here’s how to set up Indiplay Box on Samsung (Tizen) and LG (webOS) televisions.
What you’ll need
- A Samsung or LG Smart TV connected to the internet
- Home broadband of at least 15 Mbps (25 Mbps for 4K)
- Your Indiplay Box login details (sent on WhatsApp)
Step-by-step setup
- Connect your TV to the internet — Settings → Network → Wi-Fi or wired.
- Open the app store — the Samsung Apps store on Samsung, or the LG Content Store on LG.
- Search for the Indiplay Box app, or the player app we recommend when you sign up, and install it.
- Open the app and log in with the details we send you.
- Start watching — 12,000+ channels, movies and sport in HD and 4K.
If the app isn’t available in your country’s TV store, don’t worry — message us and we’ll set you up with the best method for your model, or recommend a plug-in Fire Stick or Android TV box.
Tips for smooth streaming
- A wired ethernet connection to the TV is the most stable; otherwise use 5GHz Wi-Fi.
- Keep your TV’s software updated.
- Restart the TV if a channel stutters — it clears the cache.
